The Dialogue of St. Catherine of Siena – Part III
With Reflections and Meditations by Cecil
——————————————————————
In this sacred portion, the Eternal Father reveals the mystery of holy tears, suffering, and the soul’s longing for virtue.
Through the eyes of St. Catherine and the voice of Cecil, we receive Heaven’s wisdom for the wounded soul.
——————————————————————
📖 God the Father:
“There are five kinds of tears that I give to souls.
All of them are good and arise from love, whether imperfect or perfect.”
💬 Cecil:
Tears are Heaven’s rain washing the soul.
No prayer reaches the Heart of God more quickly than one soaked in tears of contrition or love.
——————————————————————
📖 The Five Types of Tears:
1. Tears from fear of punishment.
2. Tears from loss of grace.
3. Tears from suffering or scandal.
4. Tears of compassion for others.
5. Tears of union, love, and joy in God.
💬 Cecil:
All five begin the journey of the soul—
but the fifth is Heaven on Earth.
Each tear is a seed. When buried in humility, it blooms as mercy in eternity.
——————————————————————
📖 “Suffering perfects the soul.
Without it, virtue is never tested, nor is love purified.”
💬 Cecil:
This is the wound that heals.
Suffering is the cross that opens the gate to Heaven.
It burns away self-love so that only divine love remains.
——————————————————————
📖 “Some souls weep for others. These tears are dear to Me.
They are tears of intercession. They draw My mercy down upon the world.”
💬 Cecil:
To stand between God’s justice and fallen man—this is the work of the victim soul.
Tears shed in silence beneath the Cross console the Heart of God.
——————————————————————
📖 “The soul who desires virtue, even imperfectly, is already beginning to please Me.
Desire leads to prayer, and prayer leads to grace.”
💬 Cecil:
Desire is the spark.
The Holy Spirit begins in desire, which becomes holy will, which becomes sanctity.
——————————————————————
📖 “The soul must resist the temptations of the flesh and the world.
But I do not leave her alone. I give her My Son as companion, and Mary as guide.”
💬 Cecil:
Even in our weakest moments, we are not abandoned.
To fall is not failure. To stay fallen is.
——————————————————————
📖 “If the soul accepts suffering with love and thanksgiving,
then even her tears become jewels. She is made like My Son.”
💬 Cecil:
What the world calls curse, the saints call crown.
Every pain endured for love becomes a thread in the garment of the Bride of Christ.
——————————————————————
📖 “I Myself will console her.
I will speak to her heart.
I will be her peace when all else fails.”
💬 Cecil:
This is not poetic—it is PROMISE.
The Cross is heavy—but the embrace of the Crucified is sweet.

🌺 Conclusion: The Soul That Suffers and Weeps Becomes Divine
Tears are to be consecrated, not hidden.
Suffering is not to be rejected but offered.
In this offering, the soul becomes a chalice of mercy for the world.
God wastes nothing—no sigh, no tear, no drop of suffering.
