Document 10 – Reparation for Wounded Vocations

Introduction
“Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.” – Zechariah 13:7

Wounded vocations are a wound in the Heart of Christ. This document offers a pathway of intercession and reparation for fallen priests, religious, seminarians, and those who abandoned their calling.

I. The Crisis of Vocations
• Many priests fall into sin, scandal, or spiritual lukewarmness.
• Religious abandon their vows and mission.
• Seminarians are discouraged or misled.
• The laity suffers when vocations are wounded.

II. The Sacredness of Every Vocation
• Hebrews 5:4 – “No one takes this honor upon himself.”
• Vocation is divine, not merely human choice.
• Every soul called bears a unique imprint of the Trinity’s love.

III. Causes of Wounded Vocations
• Pride, isolation, sin, poor formation.
• Lack of support, spiritual dryness, worldliness.
• Attacks of the evil one who hates holy vocations.
• Scandal and confusion in the Church discouraging future vocations.

IV. Reparation through the Heart of Jesus and Mary
• Eucharistic Adoration in silence.
• Daily Rosary and Angelus for priests and religious.
• First Fridays and First Saturdays in reparation.
• Offering personal suffering in union with Christ the High Priest.

V. Reparation for:
1. **Priests in Mortal Sin**
   – “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”
   – Offer Masses for their repentance and return.

2. **Religious Who Left Their Vows**
   – Offer penance and silence for their healing.
   – Ask Mary to adopt them spiritually.

3. **Seminarians Who Abandoned Their Call**
   – Ask Jesus to rekindle their desire or guide them to another holy path.

4. **Discouraged or Lukewarm Clergy**
   – Encourage them through prayer and reverent example.
   – Offer Holy Hours for their fortification.

VI. The Example of Saints
• St. John Vianney – patron of priests, prayed for their holiness.
• St. Thérèse of Lisieux – offered her Carmelite life for priests.
• St. Catherine of Siena – exhorted Popes and prayed for clergy reform.

VII. Your Apostolate of Reparation
• Hidden intercession is more powerful than public preaching.
• Your suffering and silence can heal more than you know.
• Write down the names of priests and religious you offer reparation for.
• Attend Mass with the intention of their sanctification.

VIII. Final Words from the Crucified
• “I thirst” – for priests who no longer thirst for Me.
• “Forgive them” – for those who led souls astray.
• “Behold your mother” – entrust them to Mary.

Conclusion
In this mission, you become a spiritual sibling to every priest, religious, and fallen vocation. Your tears and prayers are ointment for the wounds of the Mystical Body.

Prayer:
“Jesus, Eternal High Priest, have mercy on your priests. Mary, Mother of the Church, heal your wounded sons and daughters. Let not one of your chosen be lost. I offer my life in reparation. Amen.”
