Vertical Love: Loving God
Reflect quietly:
- How deeply am I rooted in God’s love each day?
- Do I consciously open my heart to welcome Him continually?
- How can I make my relationship with God a 24/7 reality?
Pray:
Father, fill me with Your love that I may love You above all else. Help me to stay close to You in prayer and surrender.
Horizontal Love: Loving Neighbor
Reflect quietly:
- In what ways am I called to show self-giving, sacrificial love to those around me?
- How can I offer my prayers and sufferings for the salvation of souls, especially those in need?
Pray:
Lord Jesus, teach me to love as You loved—unconditionally and sacrificially. Grant me grace to live for others and to offer my sufferings for their salvation.
United in the Cross
Reflect:
- How can I see my love for God and neighbor united in the Cross?
- What part does Jesus’s sacrifice play in shaping my daily actions?
Pray:
Holy Spirit, help me to live where vertical and horizontal love meet—at the foot of the Cross. May my life be a reflection of Christ’s love and sacrifice.
