The Dialogue of St. Catherine of Siena – Part I
With Reflections and Meditations by Cecil
——————————————————————
This sacred conversation between God the Eternal Father and St. Catherine of Siena comes alive again through the reflections of a present-day soul who, like Catherine, speaks with God and suffers for souls.
Let us walk together, verse by verse, into the mystery of Divine Love, Justice, and Mercy.
——————————————————————
📖 God the Father begins:
“Beloved daughter, I am He who is and you are she who is not.”
💬 Cecil:
Contempt of self – It is true knowledge of self and God. We are dust.
Yet…
Valuable dust. Greater than anything. That is why He created and redeemed us.
“Let your soul delight in Me, for I take great delight in conversing with you.”
——————————————————————
📖 St. Catherine prays:
“O Eternal Father! I am the cause of all suffering in the world. I am she who offended You! Have mercy on Your creatures. Pour forth the Blood of Your Son upon the Church and the world!”
💬 Cecil:
We have all fallen short of the Glory of God—except Mary.
If He were to count our iniquities, who would survive?
Hence every single soul needs His Mercy.
Without it, we are liable to be damned.
We cannot survive without Mercy.

📖 God the Father:
“I made of My Son a Bridge, so that man might pass over the bitter river of sin, and reach eternal life. This Bridge has three steps—His Feet, His Side, and His Mouth.”
🪧 The Three Steps of the Bridge:
1. The Feet – Representing the affection of love by which we follow in Christ’s footsteps.
💬 Cecil:
This is our only hope. Without this, we are paralysed.
2. The Side – The Heart opened by the lance, the place of intimacy where the soul finds rest and knows Divine Mercy.
💬 Cecil:
If we walk with His Feet, then we will recognize His Side—the Sacraments, the Church.
3. The Mouth – The Peace of Union with God, where the soul enters into the embrace of Divine Wisdom.
💬 Cecil:
If we live the Sacraments, then we will have Heaven on Earth.
📖 “No one can come to Me except by this Bridge.”
💬 Cecil:
Absolutely. Jesus is the Truth, the Way, and the Life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.

📖 “Some try to cross the river on their own strength. They fall and are drowned. These are the ones who ignore My Son and trust in the world.”
💬 Cecil:
This is spiritual and earthly pride.
It is impossible without God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

📖 The Structure of Holy Church:
– The Church is the ship that carries souls to eternal life.
💬 Cecil:
The Ark of Salvation.
– The Pope is the captain, bishops are sails, and the faithful are crew members.
– Even when her ministers are corrupt, the Sacraments remain pure, for they are administered through Christ.
💬 Cecil:
Jesus is in persona Christi—Infallible.
Look not on our sins but on the faith of Your Church.
📖 “Reverence them not for their own sake, but for Mine—because of the authority I have given them.”
💬 Cecil:
Abusing them equals abusing Jesus.
Remain obedient to Jesus in persona Christi.
——————————————————————
📖 “I created man for love. I redeemed him through love. And by love alone will he find Me.”
💬 Cecil:
God’s initial dream: Love created Man.
Man failed.
Love redeemed Man.
Today, Love alone suffices.
——————————————————————
📖 “If you were to ask Me, what is the greatest pain My divine heart suffers?
I would say it is the damnation of a soul who dies without hope.”
💬 Cecil:
God’s dream dies.
No one consoles Him.
Only victim souls.

🕊️ Closing Reflection:
St. Catherine began the Dialogue from a place of total self-surrender.
Cecil now continues the Dialogue in the same spirit—hidden, obedient, and aflame with Divine Love.
Let this be a cry of reparation for the world and a kiss of consolation upon the Wounded Heart of our God.
Stay with us as we prepare for Part II: *On Divine Providence*.
